Starting the 3rd hr at my local riverboats weds morn tourny. ive hit a few hands lately and im sitting pretty good with 15 people left...me and the guy to my left are probably in the top 5 overall in chip count..i get AK and after a limper a 2 i raise it 2 bb's and everyone folds but the guy on my left he calls....Flop comes A99 and i ck/ he cks...OK heres where it gets good...the turn is 10 , i ck but he hesitates and looks at his cards again...and when he does im looking right at em!!!!! i see an As plain as day then a CLUB...i didnt see it all but i knew it was a big number club...THE 10 !!! HE'S GOT A/10 !!!! he cks as im about to throw my hand away and to my shock....ITS A K !!! NOW I GOT HIM!!!!! and ive seen his cards !!! im sure he thinks he's got the best so i take awhile then bet 1000.00 , just want him to think im stealing...he takes the bait!!!!!! HE'S ALL-IN !!!!!! They are handing me that 1st plc ck today!!!!!!! ill have a HUGE lead over everbody left....I CALL.....flip my A/K !!!!!! but wait.....his jaws not dropping....hell he's smiling!!!!! wtf's wrong with this idiot??? he flips over As and.....the 9 OF FRICKIN CLUBS!!!!!!! i blew it!!!!!! i read his damn card wrong!!! i was paralyzed....i couldnt move, i just turned in my chair tried to get up but there was no blood in my legs......i think i was half way to my car before a clear thought even came to my brain.....beaten by cards i'd already seen, boys thats the worst beat possible!!
